Jason is a Full Professor of Software Engineering and the Director of DevOps+ Research Laboratory at the Nanjing University, China, also a Principal Scientist with CSIRO, Australia. He was awarded B.Eng (NUAA), M.PM (USyd) and Ph.D (UNSW). Prof. Zhang is an internationally recognized researcher and expert in software engineering. He joined academia after seven years working in software industry, developing software systems in the areas of aerospace and complex data management. He undertakes research in software engineering, in particular software process (modeling, simulation, analytics and improvement), software architecture, software security, blockchain-oriented software engineering, empirical and evidence-based software engineering, service-oriented computing, and data-driven software engineering. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers in high quality international conferences and journals, and won 11 Best/Distinguished Paper Awards from several prestigious international conferences and journals. He is a Member of the IEEE Computer Society and the ACM (SIGSOFT), a Senior Member of China Computer Federation (CCF), and serves on the Steering Committees and Program Committees of a number of high quality international conferences in software engineering community.
